Spokane Art Supply was opened Nov 1954.
The same local family still owns and operates it. Many of the SAS staff have been with the company for decades. Spokane artists have been kind with their support so that we can continue to bring you an excellent selection of artist and creative materials. There are fewer true artist materials stores left. SAS is proud of its history and what it gives back to this community.
Spokane Art Supply is also the destination
for classes and workshops.
We offer a wide selection from traditional painting & drawing to card making, multi-media & journaling. We have the greatest, nicest, most talented instructors....all accomplished artist themselves. They work diligently to provide you with a worthwhile, pleasant experience.
We also bring in nationally renown artists throughout the year. The reputation of our Guest Artist program brings students to Spokane from across the US and Canada to participate.
Our goal is to continue expanding this educational program. We want you to learn how to use the materials, have fun with others who share your interests and be successful in your creative endeavors. That's what makes the team of Spokane Art Supply staff and instructors happy.
Classes
Our weekly classes are offered in a variety of ways. Some are on-going, the instructors let you join in when it's convenient to you. Other instructors prefer that you sign up for a group of 4 or more sessions. Class descriptions tell you how to register and who to pay.
Class content varies with each instructor too giving you lots of different opportunities and experience.
